Overview

Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa, reaching 4167m at its peak. Your ascent will
last 2 days and will end with a spectacular and breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains and the
Toubkal National Park.

Day 1: Marrakech —– Imlil Toubkal Refuge
Meet in the morning at the small village of Imlil, we begin our trek up the valley to the Sidi
Chamarouch sanctuary which attracts tourists and pilgrims who come to visit it for treatment. From
here the trail continues to climb steadily, winding and zigzagging to the Toubkal refuge (3206m), our
stop for the night.

Ascent: 1400m.

Day 2: Refuge —– Summit —- Refuge —– Imlil —– Marrakech
Early in the morning climb to the summit of Jebel Toubkal 4168m, the highest peak in North Africa.
The climb is relatively accessible to all. When you reach the top you will see the beautiful
surrounding mountains and landscapes. From there, there are breathtaking views in all directions,
the plain of Marrakech to the north, the High Atlas WestEast and the AntiAtlas and the Sahara to
the South. We will return by the same route. at the refuge and continue the long descent to the
village of Imlil 1750m.
