Day 1
Marrakech– Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Boulmane Dades

Distance: 300 km

The first day will start early in the morning. We are going to pick you up from your
accommodation on the agreed time. Afterwards, our way will head us to the heart of
the High Atlas Mountains, where we will not miss the mountain pass Tizi n‘Tichka
(2260m). But before we are going to visit 2 berber villages (Ait Berka & Ait Ben Amer)
from where is a beautiful view for surroundings. Then we continue to the kasbah of
Ait Ben Haddou. This ancient building was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage
list. It became a popular place for world filmmakers for making historical films (The
Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones). We will spend there a
wonderful time with our berber guide who will say us more about its history. After
visiting we will move to Ouarzazate, it’s famous for its film studios. Here we enjoy our
lunch. In the case you are interested in, you will have some time (30 mins) to visit
Cinema museum or kasbah Taourirt, which are located close to the restaurant. Then
we continue the road to Boulmane Dades. During the way we will pass the Roses
Valley (El–Kelaa Mgouna). Arrival to the hotel, dinner.
