Our excursion, starting at 9 am and concluding at 5:30 pm, offers a comfortable AC minibus ride from your Marrakech hotel to Imlil. You will discover a tranquil environment starkly contrasting with the bustling city of Marrakech. The Imlil region is known for its cooler and quieter atmosphere, providing a perfect escape from the city’s heat and noise. Tour Plan
Our journey begins at 8:30 in the morning from Marrakech. We will hike towards Tizi n'Tamatert at an altitude of 2272m. During the hike, we will pass through fields of wheat and orchards of walnut, apple, and cherry trees, which are a sight to behold. We will then reach the village of Tamatert, which is at an altitude of 1810m. After crossing the village, we will walk through pine and juniper woods. At Tizi, we will take a break to admire the breathtaking valleys of Imlil and Imenane. The latter has many Berber terraced villages, which are hidden on the slopes that surround us. We will also see the majestic Adrar n'Oukaimeden (3268 m) on the southern horizon, along with the high peaks of Tizi n'Eddi (2928 m) and Jbel Angour (3616 m).
We will continue hiking along the slopes of the Tamatert Valley until we reach our field picnic spot at Amghedoul, which is surrounded by the Toubkal massif. After refreshing ourselves, we will head towards Douar Samra, the oldest Berber village in this region. We will pass through Tacheddirt, Ouaneskra, and the other side of the valley through the villages of Tamegguist and Tinghourine. We will also see the stunning Jbel Bou Iguenouane (3882m), Tizi n'Likemt (3615m), Aksoual (3842m), and Azrou n'Tamadot (3664m). Finally, we will return to our accommodation in Marrakech, feeling warm and content.

Imlil village, situated at an altitude of 1,740 meters, is located in the heart of the High Atlas range and stands in the shadow of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa, which rises to 4,167 meters. The village is the most sought-after starting point for challenging mountain climbs and easier hiking and trekking options.
